Chris,
I've looked and there's nothing really there except some kids screwing around in class taking videos with their phones. I figured I'd at least see some CO2 racing at the least.

I'm in the middle of writing a grant proposal for a laser engraver and I need some help. I need examples of what the laser can do for a school system. If any has pictures of laser engraved stuff that I can use as part of a quick info sheet it would be greatly appreciated.

Brian, you could come back down to our school, we have the large fabrication lab with a boat track, hydroponics and 1,000 g livestock tank where we raise tilapia and run the water through the plants,

Our design lab has pc's, cad, and cam equipment with laser and plastic printer.

We just got the five star award from TEANJ. I think we have a great setup and course layout. In hs, the first elective is a foundations course covering the STL standards k-9 to catch kids up, then the other two electives cover the 7 areas of the designed world, spiraling standards 1-20 within a series of 7 modules, or units that end with a hands on design and problem solving activities

Help is needed..
Kinnelon High School is completely redoing its technology classrooms.
The Superintendent has ask that the teachers submit a design plan for the three classrooms. At the moment there are no constraints (except building expansion--knocking down an interior wall to combine two classrooms into a larger lab is an option). Completely rewiring labs and new equipment is expected. We are limited to three classrooms rooms roughly 1200 SQ FT each. (at the moment)

What I would like to do is visit any program that has:

A comprehensive technology lab setup.
Programs that focus on materials processing (or have aspects of) and housed in 2500 SQFT rooms or smaller
An electricity/electronics lab or program.
A robotics program or lab.
Can anybody offer any help?

Are you interested in contacting other Pro/DESKTOP users? We have the names of schools who have ordered John Hutchinson's Pro/D textbook We've shipped over 2500 books in the last two years, so there must be users still out there. There are a lot of users in England and Australia, also.

I know that 'real' Rapid Prototyping is extremely cost-prohibitive to most schools. I'd be interested to see if anybody is using the 'economicsl' version that uses the sticky paper set up. That method seems do-able, crazy, but do-able!
